Suspended ceiling luminaires, pendants offer a great option for lighting those needing to focus light source in a particular area rather than lighting the general area from the ceiling  ideally suited for high ceilings. Pendants are a very versatile type of luminaire in both domestic and commercial environments being used for both decorative and task lighting. In domestic settings pendants are used to provide focused lighting over the dinner table and general lighting in the living room. In commercial settings pendants are used to provide task lighting over the desk in addition to general lighting in the foyer and communal areas.
